WiFi coming to Iowa highway rest areas
Yahoo Message Number: 50385
WiFi Networking News reports today that the Iowa Department of Transportation will pay to equip 40 highway rest areas around the state with WiFi service.  If your computer has WiFi, you will be able to connect to the Internet for free at these rest stops.
The service is being provided by a Des Moines company, I-Spot Access.
The company web site http://www.i-spotaccess.com/ has a list of locations in Iowa, Missouri and Nebraska where they provide free web access today.
Rest stops on I-80 at Davenport, Adair, and Mitchellville, and on I-35 at Osceola, are supposed to be equipped with WiFi today.  Anyone passing that way?  Tell us how well the service works!
