"the free fairy"I'm heading to Padre Island National Seashore about March 6+-. Was going to ride the free "fairy" but I understand she/he won't take any vehicle wider than 96". I've the 102" style. Is it true about the 96" limit?Ed

Re: Texas Parks typo Reply #3 – February 03, 2005, 10:48:47 am Yahoo Message Number: 50312Ed, I can't speak for sure about the Padre Island ferry, but I have taken our LD on the Aransas Pass free ferry which is operated by the Texas highway department, and they did not complain. http://www.port-aransas.k12.tx.us/PORTA/Ferry.htmlMaybe someone can give more information about the Padre Island one, but I would be tempted to try it. The worst they can do is say no.Barry 01 r rb tx

Ed Ed, I can't say for sure but I don't think they pay to much attention to the width as I used the ferry last March at "102" and they never gave me a second look.John K[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

If you are big they are going to straddle you on the yellow line. The deck hand is gong to balance his load. Your probubly going to be the only one on your side.
