dent protection for toad

Would like some input on what people have found to be the best type of protective device for keeping toads from getting damaged from stones etc. thrown back by the motorhome wheels.  Are in the process of purchasing a toad hookup, and there seems to be lots of different items available to us.

I have a "Guardian" shield by Roadmaster and it works well.  I also have a vinyl windsield cover that I double over (small windshield on the Wrangler) and then hold

I use the Protect-A-Tow and have been very satisfied with it.

We use a Guardian Tow Shield with our Honda CR-V.  We also have a split mat attached to the LD's bumper.  With that combination, we've never had a chip on the Honda while towing.

This looks similar to the Guardian, but is clear.

Chris, this looks like a good system.  Does it really install as easily as shown?  Who did you have install it?

Yes.  I installed it myself simply by putting the four eye screws in the plastic thing below the bumper on our '95 Honda Accord and the other eye screws went in the base of the LD's bumper.  I will try and take some photos as I am using it on the trip we are on now in AZ.
