LD models changes through time

I would like to ask to all the members of this group, specially the owners of older models, to contribute with all the information possible to our joint project of a full LD model's historic. Any contribution can be sent to Larry, orioki, Barry, or me. Other members will join the team. This is an ambitious project, but will be invaluable for LD ownners and fans, and, specially, to those thinking about buying a used one.

I would suggest that any contributions to the LD Changes file be posted here on the group web site rather than sent to any individuals.
This will allow a form of 'peer' review as we go, letting other members make comments on or corrections to the information as it is posted.
 Comments are easier to make on individual elements rather than on the final relatively long document.

Excellent idea. I agree in full. It will be a long document, it is a 50 year product history.
 Of course, we should not go in details in the reallly old models. As we enter in more actively used and traded models, we should be more detailed.
 After the peer review, I will coordinate the "harvest" of info, with Larry and orioki, and it's weekly gap filling inserts in the List, to maintain a structure and order.

Andy, being the great proofreader he is, will maintain my far from perfect english in line.
 I had a lot of small and not-so small family problems to address this last days, but I will be back to work in the File next friday, and will have time then, because in friday will start our carnival week.

Excellent time to be at home, quiet, and doing some interesting work...
