Linley, thanks for the above info.  Do you know the answer to the question poster earlier:  "If you attach a Wilson Trucker antenna to the TV antenna, will the proximity of both cause any interference to either the TV or the cell phone when either device is in use?"
I'm, of course, not Linley but I will attempt an answer. Although an electrical engineer, still this was not my field, but I do have some experience. If there is interference, it would only be when transmitting on the phone while watching tv. There, of course, would be no interference to the phone because you don't transmit over the tv antenna. I may be wrong, but I doubt there would be much interference on the tv because of different frequencies, different types of modulation, and a great deal of filtering in modern tvs.

I must confess that I'm not Linley either (will the real Linley please stand up?). Nor am I an electrical engineer, though I was an electronic tech in the Navy for eight years.

I concur with TJ. I would also add, that if mounting the trucker antenna on the existing TV antenna, it should not be mounted to the flat blades. Rather it should be attached to the square aluminum tubing so as to be vertial, or nearly so, when the TV antenna is up.
The Wilson antenna should end up above the blades of the TV antenna.

On the Yahoo rv communications site, there is a picture of a Wilson
mounted to the square tubing so that it extends well above the blades.
