engine maintenance
Yahoo Message Number: 50051
I have not bought a rv yet and am just trying to get more info.  I did a group search but could not find the information.
If I wanted to change a mechanical part (or an engine part) like the universal joint or pitman arm ...
1.  How would I know which part to buy?  I can't go to a parts store  and look up Lazy daze to get the correct universal joint.  What would  I tell the parts person in order to get the right part.

2.  If I wanted to take the rv to a service place, I would I find one
or go about finding one in the Los Angeles area.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Lazy Daze RVs are built on standard truck chassis, Ford, Chevy, or Dodge, depending on the year model you purchase. So all the mechanical parts, engine stuff, etc., are for that year and make of truck and very easy to find and order. Interior appointments are either fabricated at the LD factory or come from the original manufacturer (stove, refrigerator, roof a/c, etc.). The factory carries a wide assortment of replacement parts for the coach, and the manufacturers of the various components such as the refrigerator can help you repair those items.

Good luck in your search!
