The owners of www.fourpawskingdom.com have come up with a unique place for RV-ing dog owners; Lazy Dazers with "dawgs" might want to check this place out! Rutherfordton is located in western North Carolina, an area which offers plenty of scenery and attractions, even without a dog-friendly RV park!

Joan,

Why don't you add it to the 'Campgrounds, Parks, Roads, Bridges, Sites' data base if you recommend it.

For myself, I find it hard to imagine a worse place to stay.

But Joan has done us all a favor by mentioning it--so the dog lovers can go there and be welcomed, while you and I will know to stay away! ;-)

Traveling with dogs can certainly present challenges as they cannot be left alone for extended periods of time, for obvious reasons.
Along with people who don't like dogs, we, too, don't like to be in a park with barking dogs who are not attended.

For others who travel with dogs, I would recommend the KOA in Sault St. Marie, Ontario.  While we toured the area and went on a ride through the locks, for a small fee, they took our dog for a walk.
The owners travel with pets and understand the difficulty of keeping both people and pets happy.
