No problemo. Just call or email the factory. Tell them what you want the new name plate to say, send them a check, and they'll send you a new one. I ordered a new one for Pete for Christmas, thanks to Andy Baird's idea. It now says, 'for the love of Pete'. Thanks Andy - that one was a big hit. So was the new iPod, which I've pretty much confiscated.Sarah Mz. Daisy Too, in ABQ[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Awwww...poor Pete! ;-) Well, you might want to take a look at the new iPod Shuffle--just introduced yesterday at $99, it holds 240 songs and is the size of a stick of gum. It's a nice complement to the hard-drive-based iPod. That one holds your whole music library; this one holds ten or twelve hours' worth of music for casual use. (It also acts as a 1GB removable storage device that plugs into any USB port.)http://www.apple.com/ipodshuffle/> I can't resist mentioning that yesterday Apple also introduced the $499 Mac Mini, which finally puts them squarely in the low-priced PC market...with a unit that's remarkably full- featured, while having none of Windows PCs' spyware/adware/virus/worm problems. It's incredibly small (6.5" x 6.5" x 2"), draws only 85W and hooks up to any keyboard, mouse and monitor you have on hand--no need to buy Apple peripherals. A laptop is still my first choice for RVing...but the Mac Mini would be my second choice, due to its extremely low cost, modest power consumption and diminutive size.http://www.apple.com/macmini/>Andy Baird

(Yes, I do love to read their editorial pages, and this type of commentary was a first in my experience.) Assuming you haven't registered with them, I'll be happy to email you the editorial!BTW, a PCer friend with the exact same privacy invasion issues, and using the NYT as an example, just sent me this: BugMeNot.com She says it's a bit fussy to install, and if you're running a pop up killer you'll have to allow them while you're getting set up. But I'll bet you don't even know what a pop up is, do you?! Hint: it's not something one puts in the toaster!
