Factory Battery Disconnect Switch

For those with factory solar panels and factory battery disconnect switch, can battery charging via solar panels still occur when the switch is open or do the batteries become totally isolated from all systems?

The batteries are totally isolated.  However, the solar panel voltage will (supposedly) be present on 'some' 12v circuits.  I take delivery in about 2 weeks and intend to get a more definitive answer.

I have both and the answer is yes, the batteries are totaly isolated and yes, the solar panles still supply juice to the LD even without batteries.
