I lurk around the Born Free groups' site and came across someone who picked up the new Born Free 30'RSB floorplan with a diesel! This new owner said that as it was delivered to them, it was certified as being 268 lbs under the maximum gross vehicle weight rating of 14050lbs. And the plan to tow a car, and they are used to big ol' class A that carried 110 gallons of water. They even mention how many pounds over the maximum the plan to travel at and were seeking maintenance info. You gotta wonder.... How in the world a reputable company like Born Free could build such a unit is beyond me. Can you imagine LD building such a vehicle? YIKES!:)Steve K.
