"LD at the Beach" Henry, that is a beautiful picture! What colors! I've followed your interest in the 26.5RK over the last couple years; have you ordered or taken delivery yet?Steve K. As you obviously have great talent, when you are able to travel, perhaps you can earn some money by doing paintings of other RVers with their rigs. I am sure many would enjoy having such a painting to hang in the stick home or their RV.Good luck getting on the road and buying your used LD!Judy

Resigned my job this past year for health reasons / stress related. Change in cash flow makes difference in our plans for LD purchase. Still plan to own a LD, just not a new one. Yea, I chickened out. On a side note. It seems that I was even making the selection of a new LD to complicated. The entire process reminded me of something I knew, but had forgotten. ÒWe make plans and God QuotelaughsÓ Even the journey we travel to own a LD has proven to be more interesting than I ever thought it would be.Henry still a wanna be.... just painting LD's for a while Henry, thanks for the enlightenment about your road to LD ownership. We have also had some health related issues the past couple of years. The best therapy many times, has been time spent reading about RVing issues, particularly the visits with this group. You mentioned how complicated we tend to make these choices; you are so right! One important thing we learned, particularly with respect to our LD, was that in the end, it wasn't the floorplan or the options, that made it so enjoyable. It was just finally getting one! We know we could have been happy with a number of different floorplans (with a few exceptions) or the options, those things are like frosting on the cake, they make it more enjoyable. But in the end, it is that excitement, adventure, and even comfort that have made our lives richer.Steve K. (with a mountain of snow on the LD)

Ohio weather Reply #5 – December 20, 2004, 03:21:57 pm Yahoo Message Number: 48095Steve, Just thought I'd thank your for our weather forecast. We almost always get your hand me downs. You could have kept the last one in Ohio. It was 12 degrees when we woke up. I don't want your mountain of snow! I'm going out to start the LD furnace to see how warm it gets.Karen

Enjoy our the snow we sent your way! One of the problems with putting a cover on the LD is it makes it hard to into if you want to use it as an emergency shelter. I hope your LD is warm and toasty, because in NE Ohio, it didn't get above 12 degrees. And the snow, well, you know how they say in the desert areas, "its a dry heat"? Well, at least this snow was a dry one, light, fluffy, and easy to plow! Enjoy!Steve K. (putting a log on the fire!)
