Oregon Thanks

Champoeg State park, we stopped in going and coming. Special thanks for this. Interesting museum, hope to return in a warmer month.
Stocked up at Camping World in Wilsonville, (tax free!) have my Wave 3 cat but interestingly, CW can sell them but cannot install them, illegal in OR. Found a top mounted wine rack so I can get those glasses out of the way. Things I learned: how to turn on the cab light, discovered the almost invisible switch for TV antenna (always wondered why reception was as good with rabbit ears). Saw a sign for medium fresh oysters, passed on those, met a man with his own blower trying to clean up all the leaves in a forested campground. Mountain Gate CG, nnorth of Redding made a good stop, A Passport member, close to 5 but pretty quiet in LD, forget the one Talent, scary.
Holiday park in Phoenix $25, good and has WiFi. We are members of the 150 mile club. Soncee

Soncee, enjoyed your post, however the last couple of sentences are not really clear to me. We have camped Champoeg a couple of times.
An absolutely geogeous place the summer, but get reservations. Last time there we had to wait until late afternoon for a cancellation spot.
Wonderful place for bicycles. This place is steeped in Oregon state history if you seek it out.

There's a Passport memership park ($39.95 1/2 price club) in Talent that seemed a bit tobacco roadish in the dark.  Locals seemed to agree, hope I'm not being unfair. Also very noisy, right next to 5.
Further north, 1 mile? was the Holiday rv park, near 5 but behind a small shopping centre which buffered traffic noise. Am glad to know about Champoeg, almost empty last week end, thanks to group member.
Been up and down that way but park must have seemed too far for us to check in past. I loved the  museum and being of French Canadian, courier du bois, ancestry.  We were on our way to Whidbey to finalize things about our house in Oak harbor. So looking forward to living there.  Soncee
