First, best luck to you Mike, in your new life! I hope RVing will not remain a stranger to you.

I

thought I would introduce myself a bit more formally to the rest of the group. My wife Nancy and I both work, and for recreational use we bought a 1983 Lazy Daze 22' front lounge model back in 1993, and have spent the intermediate time immensly enjoying RVing, keeping the mechanicals and appliances running, and 'improving' it in subtle but significant ways.

Although LD has made many improvements over the years, the layouts are so fundamentally sound that many of those available in 1983 are still around in the current lineup.
Pretty impressive, and probably unique in the RV industry. The nice thing for those shopping the used market is that it is not that difficult to get an idea what to expect from just examining a few samples - good, since they are not that common, given the low production rate, durability, and high owner loyalty.

I invite any and all questions from prospective owners and owners, and will help in any way I can. In particular, any suggestions improving the way this club can help would be useful. By the way, we are located in the west San Fernando Valley in the Los Angeles area.
