Hello everyone, My name is Steve, (mistynola).
Last Nov (2000) we put up $$ and did the deed. Three months more,( can't wait), and we will be happy owners.

I am thoroughly convinced we made the very best decision for a LD. Extensive RV Consumers Group reading over two or more years has convinced us of that.

Just got back from the 2nd trip to the factory . More, really, to reassure ourselves that we had not made a mistake. THERE IS NO MISTAKE.! THe 26.5 ft Mid Bath is better than we remembered it from the first visit.

There are always questions, and of course, we have some:

We already have our "Toad". 1999 Saturn wgn.
We need some first hand reccomendations on what towing gear to get? Is there anyone out there who is towing a Saturn?

Am thinking about "Sewer Solution" for disposal of Blk H2O.

Any one have experience with it??? Or alternatives??

Clubs and Caravan groups?? Is there any activity in the San Francisco Bay Area? We are in Foster City.

As I write this, Im going to guess that many of these questions have already been answered, I just havent located them yet?

I'll crawl back into my hole and read some more.
Only 2800 msges to go, pant, pant.

Hope to meet you on the road after July.

Steve

Hi Steve,

My husband and I live in Tiburon, just a little ways north of you. We will be picking up our 26.5 midbath at the factory at the end of April. Then, at the end of May, we are driving up to Bellingham, Washington and boarding the Alaska Marine Highway ferry with our LD, headed up to Haines, AK. We will spend most of June in Alaska, and then we will begin the 3000-mile journey home. We are new to RV-ing, so this trip will be a learning experience for us as we enjoy the beauty of Alaska.

We are both in our 40's, trying to balance our busy work week with weekend getaways to renew and refresh ourselves. I'm a technical writer working for Netscape in Mountain View, and my husband is a building inspector in Woodside.

Are you seasoned RV-ers or newbies like us? Would love to hear your recommendations for good camping spots for weekend getaways from the Bay Area.
