For tbfisher:

Saw you went to Cape Breton in your RV. Fans of Scottish culture, we made a trip there in 1997 that was also our first RV experience; we flew to Boston and rented a class A. We won't soon forget hurtling down the back end of the Cabot Trail in that monster. It was a very poorly constructed unit but we had fun nevertheless, and were turned on to the lifestyle as a result. We intend for our next trip to be in a Lazy Daze!

Wondering -- did you take the ferry from Maine in either direction? If so, was it the new high-speed one? We used the older Scotia Prince as the new one hadn't come about yet. For our next trip, what campgrounds do you recommend?

I didn't take the ferry opting for the New Brunswick route instead. There are many nice provincial(state) parks up there at very inexpensive rates(~$10US)on CB Island. One on the NE side was free altho no hookups. The road was very good and I had no problem even with my 38ft pusher. I wouldn't do it without VERY GOOD brakes though as it is very steep in places.
