I have never seen a owners manual say not to change the oil before a certain mileage. Mileages given in the owners manual are the maximum recommended.
You are free to change it more often if you wish.
Most often the manuals say do do it more frequently when driving under hard and or dirty conditions which certainly is the conditions under which a MH opperates.
Many years ago engines came with a break in oil that you were to keep in the engine for a certain amount a miles but this practice ended years ago.
