Water Pump & Filter
Yahoo Message Number: 24120
I don't remember what this group recommended for water pumps and filters.  I believe it was the Nature Pure water filter and the Shur Flo(5.7 gpm) water pump.  Can anyone help me with the model numbers for these items and a good place to obtain them.  I just can't live with the Shur Flo Whisper Kings low pressure and need something(water filter or ??) to help me get over the fear in the use of campgrounds water.

Tks,  John K

Note that the Nature Pure water filter from Camping World comes with the chrome faucet.  If you want the white faucet, Camping World will order it for you special order from General Ecology and you can get your PC Club discount or you can order it directly from General Ecology (item # 420005, $219.50) at:

Of course, these may be fine products, but to be clear - this 'group' does not recommend nor endorse any specific product. As moderator, for instance, I have no experience with either of these. Chances are, a small minority of the members of this group actually use any one particular general product such as an add-on water filter of which there are dozens - at least - on the market.

Though many here may have purchased a specific water filter, for instance, it has not been laboratory tested by any members of this group nor have any tests been contracted out by the group. As with any other product on the market, it pays to do your own research instead of relying only on subjective recommendations. This is particulary important with any safety-related items.
Probably you were only requesting the specific items some others have mentioned here that they use personally. That's fine, but if they don't meet your expectations, bear in mind that this group as a whole did not endorse them.
