Looking for a blender that doesn't require 120VAC? Disappointed with wimpy 12V appliances? Check out this blender that's powered by a 2hp Briggs and Stratton engine:

I know Andy posted this largely as a source of amusement, but if you're looking for a blender for your LD, check out the Waring Tailgater TG 15 12-volt blender. It comes with a 15 foot power cord with ciragrette lighter adapter. Given the manufacturer, I suspect it works well. We will be getting one if space in the LD allows. Imagine margaritas during a peaceful and quiet (no generator) sunset in some desert boondock campsite . . .

Andy,

I'm sure you posted this as a joke or for shock value because they can sound worse than the generator to run a 120vAC blender! There is a great alternative though that really works well and stores in very little space. I posted the item before but never saw one work until recently. They really do a great job and work better than many 120vAC blenders not only every 12v model I've seen! It's the GSI Vortex manual blender. It even gives you some exercise while making those frozen drinks.
