Any buddy interested in where Lazy Daze inc. gets their solar systems, the company is AM Solar inc. (amsolar.com) I had found them on the internet while waiting for our 2002 MB 26.5 W/dual 75w panels. I called and they said they do indeed sell all solar systems to Lazy Daze. The site is very informative and for anyone who has specific questions on these systems a great source. I really like the flexibility that solar gives us when choosing where to camp. We can camp with full hook ups when the temps are high or low, or when we are on the long road and we want to keep the price per night down.  In our experiance the first sites to go in campgrounds are the full hookup sites, well that leaves us with a very good selection of non hookup sites and more privacy to boot. Its a wonderfull thing.

I'm really interested in learning as much about solar as I can...I dream of someday having a home off the grid, using all alternative energy sources.  A great way to start learning is via my single panel on my LD.  Thanks for the link!

Good places to start: read phred's Poop Sheet (cited earlier) on solar power, and check with RV Solar Electric, the most reputable outfit in the business.

The information in my packet of accessory information for pick up of my 2003 RB, including two 85watt panels indicates they were manufactured by BP Solar in Maryland.  Their website (www.bpsolar.com) is, likewise, informative.

Hi Sue!  I have hundreds of posts to catch up on so not sure if you are a newbie or gonnabe or what type coach you have, but I'm finding two solar panels on my 26 RB installed by Lazy Daze are an absolute godsend for boondocking.  Those puppies just keep chargin' and chargin' even in this mercurial Washington weather -- ima happy camper with the installation.  It included additional roof support, a controller and readout panel -- they literally have a mind of their own!  Lazy Daze is so thorough I would never consider an after-market installation on a new coach.  Maybe it's a gurl thing!
