One thing that has differed this group from other RV groups is the lack of sarcasm and bickering.  The latest mileage dialogue is unnecessary and trivial, regardless of who is right. I considered trading for this very rig months ago and was aware of the mileage but chose not to add it to the group discussion.   Any buyer should realize the mechanical implications of buying a high mileage vehicle.

I hope to buy a nice previously owned LD in the not so distant future, but I must say that I would not buy from someone who appears to be so stubborn.  I also do not want to be made to feel foolish for asking any question at all regarding such an expensive purchase.
I say we say good-bye to Chuckie, or anyone else that doesn't want to play nice!
The reason this group is so wonderful is because the members are so willing to be open, honest, helpful and friendly.  Thank you all for paving the way to LD ownership, and for the amazing education I am getting from this group!

While I might not buy an RV from chuck given his retisence to answer basic questions, I do not want to kick him off the site.  He is trying to sell a valuable resource.  I don't agree with his approach, but it is his LD and he should be able to advertise it in any way he wants.  I am sure no one would buy it without inquiring about the mileage.  Let's get off his case!

Rene, Lots of luck, go buy a new one.  Your chance of buying a used one is about like that of winning the lottery.  Goodby.

I agree we shouldn't kick him out of the group! He has a right to his opinions like anyone else in the group. He is trying to sell a valuable product that people that come here want, though some might be put off at how he is trying to accomplish it. I don't mind that he advertises without the mileage but I DO mind that he keeps posting it over and over again and also replying to his own post so it appears 2- 3 times in one post!

I think some just got a little upset with the continual posting of the ad, the replies in the manner he was, and him not being up front when asked a simple and valid question.

edd, I'm having too much fun.  But say goodby.  I'm taking my Lazy Daze off this market.  I don't believe there are serious buyers, and those that are serious had the good sense to know if they were out of the So. Cal. area they would not find low mileage units.  They ordered new ones.

Allen, thank you for the understanding.  To those I have offended I apologize.  The reason I got testy and overreacted was the result of some bad experiences I had with earlier calls from member of this group.  One even gave me an ultimatum that if I would not guarantee his low ball price he would not bother to drive 600 miles to look at my unit, as if it was my fault he was 600 miles away.  After monitoring this site for 5 month I believe many are not yet LD owners and many are new owners.  We long time owners are very sensitive regarding our LD units.  They are part of the family.  After you buy and own your unit for some time you will understand my reaction to insults to my unit.  I would not sell this unit to anyone I felt would not care for it as I have for any price.
Many believe it is a buyers market, that is wrong when it come to Lazy Daze.  There are very few manufactured, and most go to new buyer that have no previous one to sell.  I have no reason to believe Lazy Daze will ever increase production.  Most of the used ones are still in the So Cal area.  As not to anger I will not post my unit again on this site in the future.  I did delete the text.  With that I hope the subject is closed.

The best to all of you.

I can certainly understand that; I feel the same way about my Lazy Daze--as I'm sure most of us do.

You're right about that! Anyone who has shopped for a used LD is painfully aware of how fast they are usually snapped up. They are not like other RVs in this regard.
Best of luck in selling your rig, Charles. I hope you'll find someone who will take good care of it.
