CB Channel March 28, 2003, 06:52:01 pm Yahoo Message Number: 20436Another question :-)What channel do most of you use to talk to other LDers? And..... if you see a red Baby Daze towing a black Jeep with two old geezers in it, please say hello!!! Just look for the Jersey plates. We could be anywhere. If I can figure out how to use Andy's old PowerBook, I'll try a homepage with pictures. I tried to get Andy with his computer but he wasn't willing to come with us. We're going to track down the Daisy Chicks and get some group shots.See ya' down the road someplace.Karen

That's what the LD Caravan Club uses and I believe it's recommended in the LD user manual. I've got CH30 posted on the back of our rig in case a trucker spots a problem with our rig or toad. I sometimes tune in the trucker channel (usually, but not always 19) if there appears to be a traffic problem.Art

LD Car. Club CB Channel is 30 Reply #5 – March 29, 2003, 08:08:09 am Yahoo Message Number: 20473Quotewould appreciate knowing what channel we really should useSylvia Per the 2002 LD manual, the official LD Caravan Club CB channel is 30. And according to the manual, channel 9 (called REAC-don't know what it stands for) is an emergency channel.Chris Horst 30 IB Denver

I didn't know that it was that recently. I don't know why they changed. But the caravans now use CH 30 and we tend to keep there while on the road. There has also been an effort to make CH 13 the defacto channel for RVers (of all brands). But from what I've read, very few people actually use it.Art
