Escapade? March 24, 2003, 09:16:53 am Yahoo Message Number: 20180I'm a new member with hopes for a 23.5 RL, and I appreciate the information and experience the board has to offer. I've seen references to "see you at the Escapade" -- where and when might this be and can non-owners come look longingly at the assembled rigs?

Sure it's OK for non-owners to come look at the Lazy Dazes!! Most owners love to show off their coaches. Hope to see you there!!Sarah

If they operate this spring Escapade like last year in San Bernardino, the RV parking is outside the exhibition/seminar area. You need a registration badge to enter areas where the vendors are set up and the seminars are held. But you should be able to wander around the RV parking. Yhe LD BoF asked for a block of 50 spaces together for LDs, so they should be easy to find.Art
Re: Spring Escapade Reply #4 – March 25, 2003, 12:45:51 pm Yahoo Message Number: 20265Let me add three comments: first, the Escapees are the friendliest bunch of people I've ever met outside of this LD group, and I highly recommend joining. Second, an escapade isn't just a social gathering (although there's plenty of that!)--it includes a series of seminars on all kinds of RVing topics. You'll learn plenty, believe me! Third, if you want to get a good idea of what goes on at an Escapade, just go to my "Travels with Gertie" website (http://www.andybaird.com/travels/) and read "My Fall Escapade"!Andy Baird :-)
