2002 26.5 for sale, low miles February 26, 2003, 02:23:31 pm Yahoo Message Number: 19331A 2002 LD 26.5 ft coach has been advertised for sale since December at an RV dealer near Santa Cruz, CA. This unit has only 3,200 miles on the wide-body V10-powered chassis. I wrote to the dealer asking for details and received this reply.RV dealer Bennett Hall writes: "The Lazy Daze we have is a fully loaded,(gen, air, solar, power all, tv etc.) It is the rear island queen, mid-bath. In light brown. I am running an internet special of $58,798 on this coach. Call Bennett Hall @ 1-800-588-4787 or "According to the LD price list, a similar 2003 vehicle would cost at least $66,000 (and if ordered today wouldn't be delivered until October or November). The primary functional difference between this unit and a 2003 model is that double pane windows were added in the 2003 model year.The $59K price is high, but is near the price predicted by Barry Barnes's model (-10% of current model's price after one year). The $59K price is at the high end of the range predicted in the online NADA RV pricing guide (www.nada.com), and a little higher than the price predicted by the Kelly Blue Book for RVs.I'm guessing that this unit has not been sold because it's the less popular 26.5 ft rear island bed floorplan.
