----- A reputable tire shop should decline to install this size tire on the wheel, IMO. Besides being unnecessary and overly expensive, utting on larger tires is a bad idea for this important reason:

A 235 tire is 10 mm wider than a 225.  When 235s are installed as duals on the Ford chassis, the distance between the tires is minimal, and the sidewalls *will* "kiss" every time the tires flex.
Even in "normal" driving, tires flex constantly, and sidewall scuffing or wear from their touching is not going to be visible unless one gets down (or racks the chassis) and carefully inspects the inner sidewalls. Weakened and stressed tire sidewalls area are very frequently the cause of blowouts, and a blowout in a rear tire can do a *lot* of damage.

The wheel well of the LD will accommodate the 85 mm aspect, but you don't get the higher tire (measured from the inner bead edge to the tread top) without the wider tread.

My suggestion is to replace your tires with the OEM size, i.e., 225/75R/16, in an all-steel tire, i.e., steel belting in the sidewalls as well as under the tread; the Goodyear G647 or the Michelin XPS rib meet this criterion. (Manufacturers change tire specs and number designations frequently, so you might check Bridgestone and other tires in the Michelin and Goodyear lines.)
