What do you know about the new 30 ft?

We are taking the factory tour in early February.
Our excitement level is so high we are making the trip from Iowa to probably make our purchase while there. The LD people I have spoken to on the phone seem real honest and professional. The RVCG gives it the only 5 star rating in the whole book. We were looking at Born Free but dropped that idea once we began to read objective comparisons. Born Free is located an hour's drive from our home.

Speaking of Born Free, this past Saturday I saw their coaches for the first time at a FMCA Rally. After seeing these coaches I do not believe there is any comparison between them and LD. Comparing there 26 to LD's 26',the kitchen was really bad and the interior height was low. It didn't have the open feeling that the LD has. Besides that their price was $17,000 higher than a 26' LD. There are most likely more things to compare, but after 5 minutes in that coach I just had to leave. If LD was ever at a show with Born Free I don't think anybody would look at a Born Free again. This is just my opinion. You folks should be excited about buying a LD and I know that when you take delivery it will have been worth the wait.

Actually a fully outfitted 26 ft. Born Free costs even more than the $17,000 up charge you mention. It is more than $20,000 higher with the options.
