I LOVE Buc-ee, they are HUGE, plenty of pumps, and delightful stores and bbq

Was sad after I left the last one on my Texas detour this spring.

Having lived near 2 Buc-ees now, we just don't get the draw (and yes, we've been).  The really bizarre thing was our neighbors who were all excited about the clean bathrooms when one opened near our community....  The Buc-ees was less than 10 minutes from their houses.  I'm still trying to wrap my head around that one.

If I lived near one, I wouldn’t care either.

You know you’ll find an empty pump, the restrooms are huge, far more fountain options, decent food.

And they have plenty of employees working everywhere, unlike even the nicest truck stops, there are plenty of people to help you and pay for your purchases.

As fuel up & break stop on the highway, it’s wonderful, you know you’re not waiting in any line, something I cannot say about other random stops.   Not a fan of exit roulette, where you don’t know if there is a wait for either gas or washroom.
