out of hibernation ,,,,
most of physical maintenance appointments done and remaining work is deterministic (unfortunately not completely done with going under the knife). Survived long eastern wedding ceremony .... and am ready with four trip plans to keep us occupy till Fall 2025 !

Took out LD for oil change before next trip and dealer picked up on the check engine light we had for a while during Alaska trip. I thought it was due to loose hose after Fairbanks oil change and check engine light was gone for after I tighten the hose. According to dealer issue was with catalytic converter and they ended up changing the converter and three sensors under the warranty. I am still few thousand miles shy of 36K, but am couple of months above 36 months new truck warranty. Not sure if exhaust system has different warranty, or dealer/Ford went by time stamp on the error code or my investment on extended warranty paid off ... service manager did tell me that catalytic converters do get bad often, this is NEWS to me ... any ways, hope this information may help some of the forum member who have new chassis.

Changed generator oil change this am ... first time oil change after 20 hours of generator use was piece of cake two years ago I struggled with the oil drain screw and had to take professional help, last year I convinced myself that our generator use is/will not be much and skipped this step and this year I had no choice. Turn out, screw came out pretty easily and entire exercise was straight forward. I do have the tool and will rinse the water heater a well along with cleaning fresh water tank with vinegar (that will be the first time I think) followed by whatever other steps are required for de-winterization before we are ready for newfoundland trip.

I did mention upcoming trips to service manager and got a green light. Not worried about engine. From coach side, hope I am not missing any required annual maintenance item. Small items like lubricating hinges or window channels I do keep WD40 and Lithium grease can with me and I go get auto reminder .even if I forget them ..,,

Hope all is well in the LD world, will be reading back messages ......
