Selling a Lazy Daze January 28, 2024, 06:02:53 pm We have a 2002 Lazy Daze. Rear bath and 27 1/2 feet. Well maintained-we have all of the service records. We are considering selling it. Feeling like our rv days are coming to a close. Would someone be willing to give us a ballpark figure on a selling price? Thank you.Kathy

Re: Selling a Lazy Daze Reply #3 – January 29, 2024, 04:47:07 am Hi Kathy, I'm sorry to hear that your days of enjoying a Lazy Daze may be getting close to an end. A few of us here are also in that predicament. Or at least cutting back on our most ambitious travels. I find that traveling to occasional outings with other Lazy Dazers, not too far, with a waiting location is a good trip. It looks like you are in Pennsylvania? That can affect the ease of selling. Prices are hard to state without knowing how many miles you have on the odometer. Options, and even external and internal colors also affect the price. Are you the original owner? What options do you have? The for sale template in the 'Classifieds' section provides everybody with a list of questions that most of us would want answered. A link here Placing a classified ad A recent encounter with new owners of a 2004 RB at the Caravan Club, mentioned a price at about $35k, but I don't know what condition it was in inside, how many miles it had, whether it had new tires, whether it had the original refrigerator, etc. So my ballpark estimate of your 2002's value is somewhere between $20k and $50k. Not very specific. It could be lower because of roof leaks or other damage. It could be higher with extra options and aftermarket additions. (new engine/transmission... things like that.) RonB
Re: Selling a Lazy Daze Reply #4 – January 29, 2024, 07:05:51 am Thanks, Ron. I appreciate your input. I did look at the LD classified ads. I was thinking around $30,000.
Re: Selling a Lazy Daze Reply #5 – January 29, 2024, 10:30:17 am You can go to the JD Power website - the Kelly Blue Book for RVs. Enter year, model length, added options and your ZIP code. You'll get an average retail sale price and low retail sale price.

Re: Selling a Lazy Daze Reply #7 – January 29, 2024, 01:32:12 pm I appreciate everyone's feedback. This is our second Lazy Daze-started with a 23 1/2, and a few years later, moved on to a 27 foot. My husband is going to take some pictures on our next sunny day, and then I will post in the classified ad section. This is a bit sudden for us. We have loved our Lazy Daze. But my husband has developed some shoulder issues, and we are looking to sell sooner than I expected. My question with the cost-we want to post a price that gets the rv sold. Thanks for any input. 2 Likes
Re: Selling a Lazy Daze Reply #8 – January 29, 2024, 02:13:43 pm I appreciate pricing it aggressively, my only concern is if the price is too low, you’ll bring out the flippers looking to make a buck. Price it fairly and be generous with taking less if the buyer is looking for themselves.
