owners manual for 91 twin king 24'
Recently bought a 1991 TK 24' with no manual - have scoured the interwebs for a manual to no avail - would anyone happen to have one for this or a close model that I could pay to get a copy of? thanks!

Welcome to this Neighborhood.  Our manual is for a midbath which is probably not much help.   However, someone will certainly be able to help you fairly soon.

I don’t know if the person who made the original post is still here but I hope so.  I would have bet the farm that someone would have offered some guidance on their search for a manual.

Our manual is a 2009 which for the most part covers many aspects of all models of LD long before and after 2009.  If the OP would want a scanned copy of specific instructions or information please post that request here. We’ll try to help with those.

I’d venture to say that most if not all the RVing related topics and guidelines in the LD manual are rather standard practices widely available on the Internet. So you’d not need a manual for those topics.

I hope some of this is helpful.

Years ago, Andy tried to get permission to post copies of the Owners Manual and was denied by LD.
Since LD is now out of business, I'm not sure if that lack of permission pertains to today.
Individuals transferring copies to each other of the OM is fine, IMO

"I'm not sure if that lack of permission pertains to today."

I would think that LD may have held Copy Rights © to that document which could cloud the issue!  :o

Steve;  I'm sure that is a moot point right now.  How is a non-existent company going to claim that copying a manual for someone who owns an LD coach, is harming them?   The more copies that are running around, means it is more likely that when somebody with such an 'antique' motorhome needs one, they'll be able to find one.
I know my copy is somewhere in the house here, but I haven't seen it for a while.  I wasn't very impressed with it, and haven't missed it.   RonB

The Owner's Manual is a useful document, especially for a new owner, it explains simply how to use most of the systems.
What it doesn't provide is detailed information on the construction, electrical, or plumbing locations. It is generic in this respect and pertains to all LD floorplans.

I have no idea why Steve was so protective of the manual, The day we ordered our  LD, we were given a Manual to read while waiting nine months for the new rig to be built
On the day we picked it up, to receive the updated manual for our new LD, we had to give back the old manual first.
It seemed odd.

Yes, copyright issues are probably moot at this point in time. But LDs reluctance to provide folks with copies has always puzzled me, there must be a reason that I'm missing.

As to the location of my Owners Manual, it's right where it belongs, in the coach, and has been since it's delivery date nineteen years ago! I seldom looked at it but it's come in handy more than once.   :o

Hi Steve; On a E350 chassis, weight is an issue. Your motorhome on a more modern E450 with more weight capacity, and being seven feet longer accommodates more 'stuff'.  At 'pickup time'  almost 24 years ago I went through the manual I received and didn't notice anything I didn't already know. The one thing that might have been useful, a detailed wiring diagram with color coding, AWG wire sizes and spread out actual locations of circuit breakers, wasn't in that manual.  I didn't appreciate that LD placed a non movable dense wiring run directly over the first row of fuses in the Ford fuse panel under the dash. I hope I never have to replace any of those!   RonB

I promptly scanned in the manual for out 2013 31 IB after I got it home as a backup 'in case the original manual was lost'.
Todd said I could not distribute copies to anyone, due to copyright issues I guess.  I usually have a CD copy in the rig for reference. I may have mislaid a CD or two over the years.

For anything 'mechanical' Steve Newton was the go-to guy but when you would try to discuss electrical stuff you would get a blank stare!   ::)   ;)
