PSA for 2021-2022 owners January 14, 2024, 04:38:59 pm Don't trust a recall "inspection". Insist on the recall repair.So there was that recall for the power steering hose that could come loose. I had mine in and they "inspected" it and said all was good....until it wasn't.I had the recall inspection last January and last week while rounding Atlanta, the pressure fitting of the hose that goes into the hydro boost popped out. I had no power steering or power brakes. They're on the same circuit.I just spent the last week in Macon GA waiting on parts. Took 3 tries to get the right ones because they're VIN specific and they couldn't get it right.At first Ford said no to fixing it under the recall, because it had been already done. They ok'd it under something called GCCT? Basically they extended the warranty for this item.Fun way to start my snowbird trip. 6 Likes
