Suggestions for LD order…
This is from Todd, when I asked about door top hook replacement….
They were replaced with plastic ones as they where years ago. $17.50 gets 2 delivered to you.

May want to look over your coach ( drawer guides & bracket, plastic door latches, window locks ) and various things I can help you with?

So before I order, LD Owners here, please suggest anything else, your crystal ball 🔮 says I may need, in future years, that the Mothership may have…

water pump?

Thanks in advance 👏

We ordered white/gray  2018 27' mid bath 1/3/18 and we are hoping for a July 16th 2019 delivery, sold, and tried a Lithium Travato, wish  I would have kept the Lazy Daze 27’

Drawer slides are a weak point, particularly those on the larger drawers. Unfortunately, the ones LD used are too weak to hold up for the life of the coach, though that may be the best available designed with integral stops to prevent opening in travel. I replaced ours with much sturdier models with over twice the number of ball bearings and built my own stops - which have held up fine now for over 11 years. The drawers also open much further than before.

Tiger,

I’m not sure which product you refer to. Is this hook which is available on Amazon, the item to which you refer? JR Products 10535 Metal C-Clip Style Door Holder - 3",Silver Amazon.com: JR Products 10535 Metal C-Clip Style Door Holder - 3",Silver :...

It’s the thing behind the top of the door that holds it open… It might be available somewhere else, but I’m not sure what exact product it is… it’s the one you have a picture posted of

Hi Tiger;  Your 2012 might have the older plastic clasp:  Amazon.com: RV Designer E242, Plastic Door Holder, Clip Only, White, 2 Per...  The spacing between the holes is different than the metal one Kent detailed above. You want to keep the one that fits the holes in your door.  I just ordered two more packages for a total of four.  Before the new ones arrived I used my last spare.  They last a couple of years each. Sunlight eats them, but they don't rust.  I use pliers to squeeze the bars on the striker together, for just the right grab. A little wax helps.
The picture is a little distorted, the actual product looks straight.  Years ago I put in slightly larger screws, so I have to drill these mounting holes a little larger. The position of the clip is just a little loose, so it can be adjusted for a better fit.  RonB

Hi Keith; I've seen at least one LD with that holder, but I like one that I can close the door from inside, without having to get out to release it.  A daily thing when it starts getting cooler outside.  I got one magnet latch once, that started rusting in the package before I mounted it.  I think it was meant for an inside the house use.
I'm going to order one of these:  Amazon.com: RV Door Latch Door Magnetic Catch RV Door Holder Magnetic...  To see if that might work outdoors.  RonB

Not to take away business from Todd but you can buy most of these parts on Amazon for competitive prices. I’ve ordered OEM door latches, window locks and water pumps that factory match what was used.

Hi Tiger; as Joe said, almost all incidental parts are available on line. My original water pump lasted 22 years. So you might be carrying one around for another ten years. And then you would have an untried 10 year old (out of warranty) pump.  Amazon among other vendors can supply one in just a few days usually.  I would buy this:  Amazon.com: SHURFLO 4008-101-A65 New 3.0 GPM RV Water Pump Revolution, 12V :...   One from Todd Miller might be harder to get.  He does represent the 'mothership' now, but it is just a warehouse/ storage area now. Not the Montclair factory.   RonB

One of the few things I have not found in the aftermarket are drawer slides, as Steve pointed out, they wear out.
The things truly unique to LDs are curved top and end caps and the rear ladder.

I'd add the shower dome to the unique list (the new and improved version).

I'll also say that I have purchased from Todd (or the factory in the past) to be sure I have the right part the first time.   At times I have ordered from Amazon and received something that didn't quite work the same (my fault, but avoided by ordering from someone who knows LD coaches).
