TK beds November 13, 2023, 09:24:42 pm During our shakedown trip last month we experimented with the bed setup. The king size was a no go, no where to put your feet when getting out of bed. So we went with the 2 singles, kinda strange not sleeping “together “ after 50 years. Did the European thing, took top sheets from some queen size sets. After folding lengthwise sewed across the bottom and a foot up the open side, voila a pair of single sheets. With a couple of single bed mattress covers we are in business. 4 Likes
Re: TK beds Reply #1 – November 14, 2023, 02:21:23 am When my wife is with me, the back is setup like this, twin king sheets which is fitted sheets for two twin beds, a king top sheet, and a king blanket and comforter. Not quite sure what you mean about no where to go with your feet getting out of bed.Sheets & blankets are rolled up during the day when the table is down. When it’s just me alone, or traveling with one of my kids, just the passenger side bed is made up. 1 Likes
Re: TK beds Reply #2 – November 14, 2023, 02:18:00 pm TK rear is very similar to the MB lounge. We modified the passenger side couch so that it would accept a RV queen size bed. Before that we used a RV queen topper to get a queen bed yet roll up the topper when you want to set up the rear lounge again. The inside sleeper does have to get out over the end of the bed. That's me and it's not difficult. The outside sleeper has 6" of room next to the other couch. Hope that helps out Karen~Liam 98 ~ MB NinA 2 Likes
