Mouse intrusion
So, here is a little something for everyone to think about while your driving down the road. We were recently out in the wilds of Montana and in the middle of the night I hear this scratching inside the bathroom wall then I hear it move to the heater / water heater side I assume through the plumbing chase under the floor. The question here is, what is the best route for a mouse to get into that area? The power cord access has been replaced so I know that isn't it. I guess it could come in through the firewall but access to the inside of the shower wall is really limited.
Anyway, he is eliminated but the access point baffles me. Thoughts?
Thanks for the input.

The critter moves in the utility trough.  There is a utility trough through the floor between the Mr. Mrs Wardrobe Drawers, hot water heater and the shower faucet for PEX hose.  It extends into the toilet box then to the water pump and water tank under the kitchen counter.

I have to drain it so I'll look it over pretty close. Thanks

Jon,
NO! You don't have to drain it.
On my 1988 MB the factory has a passageway(trough) in the floor construction for the hot and cold-water pipes that supply the hot water heater and take hot water to the sinks and shower.
Remove to bottom wardrobe drawer to access the water heater side.  There is an access panel in the left twin bed storage to access the other end of the passage (back side of the shower).
There is a tunnel built in the shower stall back and left sides to the toilet box.
Access the water pump from the kitchen 12 x 12 panel and you can look all the way to the toilet box.
