Your choices are to find them in an auto dismantling yard, fabricate a new set, or replace the hard lines with rubber oil lines, possibly mixed with sections of new hard line.Occasionally, I see parts like this listed on eBayAh, the joys of owning an old RVLarry 1 Likes
Re: oil cooler lines Reply #2 – October 10, 2023, 04:42:15 pm Hi Aschofer; Welcome to the LDOG group. I hope you'll find what you need here. The cooling lines in your picture appear to be in good shape, other than needing cleaning. Can I assume you've tried a Chevrolet dealer, NAPA, etc? I did find some parts at RockAuto 1995 GMC G3500 7.4L V8 Fluid Cooler Line Connector | RockAuto, along with o-rings I guess I need to start replacing parts for my nearly 25 year old LD, or at least stock piling some harder to find parts for myself. It's hard to know what you'll need, until you need it. RonB
Re: oil cooler lines Reply #3 – October 10, 2023, 05:14:03 pm Thanks Larry and RonB,The lines are leaking oil up farther by the crimp where the rubber meets the metal. I've searched everywhere and can't find a match. Probably will have to have some made.Andy
Re: oil cooler lines Reply #4 – October 10, 2023, 05:25:13 pm Hi Andy; If you can afford some downtime I know people who have had custom power steering hoses made for them in major city areas. Also hydraulic pressure hoses, so these cooling lines with relatively low pressures might be easy to have made. The metal parts might be re-usable. RonB 2 Likes
Re: oil cooler lines Reply #5 – October 10, 2023, 09:36:44 pm They appear to be engine oil cooler lines, I would bet they might be available through NAPA. Might find a good pair at a salvage yard. Or cut the crimp ring off, shorten the hose and install a hose clamp.Jon
