Tiger traveling next 2 days, to look at a new to me Lazy Daze, wish me luck
Excited to be traveling today & tomorrow. to inspect, and hopefully drive home, a new to me Lazy Daze! Hoping its the right coach for me, family & friends to enjoy my retirement travel in.

I still remember sitting in the models, at the mothership, just the feeling, I had about it, how strong, safe, well built & quality everywhere! The sellers have been so great communicating, and working to set it all up, I believe they wanted a LD forum member, who loves LD's,  to take care and enjoy it, after they were done.

Now trying to remember all the things, I learned the first time, post rig height on dash label, watch for low overhanging branches, no quick turns, after getting fuel, turn off propane fridge/heater, before fueling, gently turn propane off myself, turn corners wide, no backing up, if pulling a toad, keep fridge level or turn it off, lots to remember ....I think I need a wingman

Got my checklists ready, feel free to give me any advice you would like, I will post Friday, hopefully on my way home, no place like home   8)

We ordered white/gray  2018 27' mid bath 1/3/18 and we are hoping for a July 16th 2019 delivery, sold, and tried a Lithium Travato, wish  I would have kept the Lazy Daze 27’

Best wishes!

Just mainly check for any signs of water damage on the interior ceiling, exterior corner cracks/repairs, roof seam condition, tire age, maintenance records, and of course take it for a ride!

Good Luck!  Tires (inc spare), batteries, shocks, refrigerators more than 10-15 years old and if stored outdoors requires roof reseal after 10 years are all good negotiating items.  Cautious if roof taped.  Check for rear window leaks inside/outside.  Any suspension upgrades? If yes, who did them and when were they done (they do not last forever).

If I may ......

Mother shared a bit of advice with me I'll never forget.   "Don't fall in love with something that can't love you back."   Frist thing in your mind should be 'What can I sell this for''.   Remember when all is said and done it's nothing but a mechanical machine that moves you from one stop to another.

2012 30’ IB, Traveled 2000 plus miles, and just so happy, I did!
Now I have to safely drive it back to Louisiana.

Inspected it all afternoon/evening and it’s the one for me. The sellers were very communicative, wonderful to work with. The Jertbergs were fabulous, thank you both!

Inside pictures are still in the LDO classified section 🎉👍

Congratulations! Beautiful rig. Nice color. Interesting awning. Was that the OEM back in’12?

Should be plenty of room for several friends and a private room for you. Welcome back to the family.

I LOVE the push button out and back in awning, not sure if it came that way, but it’s great 👍

On my previous 2019 MB, I called the putting out & back awing, a marriage encounter, because it seemed to take 2 people lol 😂

Hi Tiger;  So you stepped back in time from a 2018 (or was it a '19?) MB into a 2012 31'.  You might want to edit your profile to reflect this change.  That awning is nice. Possibly Lazy Daze put it in by request. (at extra cost of course)

Tiger. Don't fill the water tank full. You don't need to carry all that weight.  Put as much as you expect to use and a bit more. I normally only have 15-20 gal (llons not s) in my 2013 31 IB

Hi Ron, since they all look the same, it just seems to be a larger coach…I think my last MB, was 2018, hope to buy it back one day 😃 you know, spend 5-6 years, in each coach

Thank you, Spartan11, I made it home safe, getting it ready for camping/travel, doing some minor repairs and maintenance, went ahead and got the matching, green, mini cooper convertible toad 🐸

Mrs ~Jessica Jertberg, was just awesome to work with, trying to help me, every step of the way. We are lucky to have such wonderful people on this forum.

I am having some issues I can't fix yet, my electric steps work, but the OFF switch, doesn’t make them stop working, help me troubleshoot, if you can

Anyone else with a few minutes to help me with some rookie questions, esp 31’ owners, let me know the best time, thanks
