Thanks Margee; Truly a blast to see many of the photos. I still have a 'hard copy' brochure of the model year that mine was built.   RonB

This thread got me thinking about my own history on this forum, and felt it was time to confess my status as Hero member being bit fraudulent, based upon my review of “my” posts.

My active participation in this forum started back in 2010, according to my first post, yet my profile has posts going all the way to 2004.  Looks like my profile consists of myself and two other “Daves”:

Dave & Sandy 2000 RB ABQ
Dave 2000 RB Albuquerque

Dave {& Kristine} Ruby the red 04 RK with Tux and Dolly the Boston Terriers
Dave and Kristine Evans, Lincoln, Nebraska arrived in Ruby the Red

My suspicion is things got blended during the transition from Yahoo Groups to our current forum.  Roughly half of 1439 posts are mine, so I would still qualify as Hero (500+ posts), just not as seasoned as my numbers imply.

I do find it somewhat amusing that one of my alter egos, Dave Evans, is from Nebraska, which is where I grew up (Omaha) until I moved to California in 1987.

Dave K,  'Hero' merely depends on the number of posts you've made.  Regardless of the history, I think you've posted enough to hit the 'hero trigger' by your own efforts.  Not to worry  ;)

This post has no other purpose but to propel me to “full member” status. Due to not being very chatty or technically knowledgeable, in addition to being pulled in other directions with three children, it has taken me over 23 years to reach this level.   I have always taken delight in periodically checking into the site and seeing familiar names of folks, thoughtfully and enthusiastically helping each other maintain,  travel and enjoy their L.D.’s.
I didn’t anticipate when this site was originated, how it would evolve into a genuinely caring community, where folks can share life events and deep insights  as well as the trials of day to day living. This is a truly wonderful group.

Cheers,
Susan
