“Porta-leggs”
Found this contraption in the bowels of the under-bed storage and had no idea of its function. Very retro in its cast aluminum design. Google was very helpful, and actually turned up one with its original box and instructions. Seems “gimmick-y” But may be of some use where there are no tables in your campsite. Is it a gimmick or have you actually used one? ORIGINAL VINTAGE PORTA LEGGS FOLDING TABLE LEG BASE FOR RV'S - CAMPING...

Some older LDs came with a metal table mount sunk into the floor that would hold a 2" tubing. The table had a similar mount on its bottom and would accept the top of the tube.
The legs you have were made to hold the table's tube for outdoor use of the table.

Yes, mine came with3 different length tubes. The shortest is about 12”. I assumed it was an extension, but diameters are wrong

Did your RL come with the extension table to extend eating area over to the couch? If so, the chromed tube it came with should fit your tripod device.
