Just happen to have a 2 hole to sell or give away!
Re: Leaking Fuel Tank Reply #26 – March 17, 2023, 12:06:51 pm I finally found a shop that would install a Liland Global FOR06A aftermarket replacement fuel tank. They also put in a Precision Fuel Pump A30138 hanger assembly, and replaced some of the genset fuel line.I passed along Larry's tip about using all-thread. Their reaction: "a brilliant, simple solution."Another shop quoted me $3987.89 on the Motorcraft OEM 7C2Z9002F tank. That's just for the tank, labor and tax not included. For the whole job with tank and fuel pump they wanted $5667.00.
Re: Leaking Fuel Tank Reply #27 – March 20, 2023, 10:24:16 pm Surprise, surprise, I was led to believe there were 3 outlets to the fuel pump, indeed there are only 2. The part that Larry suggested works on the 2004. I had a mechanic drop the tank today, there was a leak in the hose going to the Onan. He demonstrated it by hooking it up to some type of mist creating device that clearly showed cracks in the line. Hopefully replacing the line will solve the clicking Onan. They also noted that the hose had been leaking gas at some point - probably when the gas tank was full.
