part number for a 2000 MB generator fuel line
Researching this morning generator fuel line replacement.

I did call the LD factory 2 years ago inquiring about the generator fuel line and they did not have any parts or information for me.

Is there a part number or a generic "fix" for replacement?
Being a 2000 MB, I would like to have it if I need it.
I have not had any issues such as leaking or performance of the generator at this time.

Calling ford with my vin number to get cost estimate for fuel pump replacement parts.

There isn't a part number.  Just get a similar sized piece of fuel hose.  Any shop should have some.  If you need to buy it on your own, you can take the current hose to a parts store and walk out with a replacement for a buck or two.

This might help (for a 2003):

Many of us have gone with an OEM fuel pump (Motorcraft) when available.  The version you want will have an extra tube (pickup) into the gas tank where the generator line is attached.  See pics in the album linked above.

Thanks Rich,
Wanted to have my parts accessible before I pay for a tow to the shop mechanic.
Spring is here in Kansas, with many hail producing storms on its way.
Trying to avoid the LD sitting in a shop park lot.

Just read the post started my Lazy Bones, "Leaking fuel pump". A lot of good information mentioned there.

Looking for a good E450 V10 Econo line shop manual. Owners manual can be vague at times.
