Folding Shower Rod
Hi  TSpin818;  Since classified ads can disappear anytime the original poster wishes, or in six months by policy, I started this new topic to retain this comment and picture in our files.
The shower rod is available at many RV stores.  This one is just a sample.  Stromberg Carlson EXT-3542 Extend-A-Shower Expanding Shower Rod - White    . I didn't have to modify the rod, but I used one screw hole from where I removed the Lazy Daze rod at each end, and put another hole where the new rod needed it.  The leftover hole on each side I just placed a stainless screw in to fill the hole. (I may have painted the screw heads white to make it less obvious.)   If I have a wet towel to hang up to drip dry, placing the rod farthest away from the toilet, allows it to drip into the shower pan. Looking at that picture again, I may have left the screw heads unpainted.  I was reminded that I put in a vertical post to keep the shower curtain rings from sliding across while in motion. And from inside the shower you can open the medicine cabinet (keep that toilet lid down!) and access the contents.    RonB
