Oil change in Connecticut
We are currently in the Central Connecticut area for the next 10 days and need an oil change. Does anyone have a recommendation?
I have used Walmart automotive centers in other parts of the country, but the half dozen I have called in this area do not do motorhome oil changes.
Thanks in advance for your help

Hi Bill;  I try to change the oil within a one or two year window. Plus or minus 5,000 miles.  I use Synthetic only, with I hope, a high quality filter.  Unless you are full timing you can stretch that out. The worst situation of lot's of short trips and many warm up, cool down cycles, usually doesn't happen with motorhomes.  Just check the oil and make sure there is some.  RonB

No recommendation for CT, but I just had my oil changed last Friday at a local Ford dealership in TX. Call ahead to confirm (they also installed my Catstrap last year).

They didn't need a lift but I did have to use my levelers to raise the front end.

I've also used Ford fleet service in CA for an oil change.

You might consider a cheap oil pan and an oil filter wrench, oil, oil filter and air filter.   Probably the same price or even cheaper than someone doing it.  The drain plug is easily accessible.   You probably could do it in the parking lot of Walmart or better yet, an auto supply store that will recycle your old oil.  Just my suggestion if you can’t wait.

We spent last summer on the east coast. We found Boulton RV, also called Certified On-Site RV Service.  They did several repairs for us including fixing the awning. We also used them for temp storage while we went into some cities.  Good customer service and knowledgeable.
