Corner “Trim” pieces cracking
Hi!!!  And Happy New Year to all!!!!
We have the ‘07 Center Bath.   The corner trim pieces that bond the sides and back to the roof have cracks.  I’m sure ours is not the only rig this has occurred on.  Replacing these trim pieces is outrageously expensive so for Plan B what have y’all found is a good product for repairing these cracks?   Many thanks!!!
Happy Trails to you all!!!
Bob

Hi Bob,

I found several members’ prior postings incredibly helpful when I tackled my end cap repair.

Here’s one link that helped me a lot:

My "How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the End Cap" Project

That thread, and many great ideas, experiences, and pointers from Larry and Ron and many more made it very doable.

I hope this helps!

Hi, Jason, and thank you so very much for your link to previous posts about repairing end cap cracks.   Seeing the pics that East Bay Ray posted makes me realize that my cracks have been caught early on as right now they are hairline cracks.  My plan is to fill these cracks with something like GOOP which I did a couple years ago with earlier cracks.   My concern is using something that will flex.
Do you by chance know how to contact Todd who was the “go to” guru at LD for many years?  I understand there is an email contact address for him and that he does reply.
Again, many thanks, and Happy New Year!!!
Bob
