Looking at 2006 LD here in Lake Havasu, AZ. Checking the roof noticed some delamination. Help!

The sheet aluminum roof is not glued to the underlying plywood, the roof floats.
In warm weather, the sheet aluminum expands and looks as if it has waves. In cold weather, the roof contracts and shrinks, eliminating the waves.

Of course, we are assuming it might be a little warm at Lake Havasu, he, he!

Speaking of, I just watched this newish video on roof and cabover area replacement on a Lazy Daze, which goes to show how amazing it is screwed on:

Glad to hear the aluminum sheet is not glued down, I was up on mine cleaning the air cond and noticed the waves and was hoping it wasn't delam or water ingress.  I have a 2016 MB and the roof seals are in great condition.

Larry thank you for responding to my post for help. We just arrived home to Calif without the LD. Saw your post after we had already left. Really scary seeing all those waves to me it looked like it was delaminating or water damage underneath since the sealant looked bad too! Live and learn!
