That video made the rounds on the Jeep sites last year.
It was a manual transmission that had been left in Low Range. If pulled by a large RV, the engine could theoretically have spun to over 15,000 RPM. A smaller, less powerful RV wouldn't have been able to pull it.
It is a spectacular piece of carnage.

 I didn’t notice the date on the video; too stunned at the “carnage”, which is a very accurate description! I don’t see how it could be repaired at all, let alone for less than the cost of a new Jeep - or two!  :o
