LED Interior Lights
2015 TK with factory installed LED lighting.

A few have gone bad, particularly the round reading lights above the couches.

I can't for the life of me figure out how to get these apart to replace the LED arrays within.

Any tips from someone who's done this before?

You’ve probably tried it, but could the fixtures be the mounted to a base plate “twist off” type?

As Joan said, they are twist off (see first photo). Grab just the light (clear) portion, not the white mount, and twist (counter-clockwise I think).  Some of them twist off easier than others.  The white base has four phillip-head screws securing it.  Just took one of mine off today to tap into power for the TST booster (re-do, now that I have the correct T-tap connectors).

Not familiar with the LD installed LED fixtures, but I am surprised some have failed. I would suspect a related problem causing the issue, such as consistently too high a voltage - perhaps from the converter, alternator, or solar charge controller? You should never see higher than about 14.6V from any source.

While you have the LED light pulled apart you may want to check the switch.  LEDs have a long lifespan but the switch contacts can get dirty and will fail.  Doing several hard snaps of the switch sometimes will knock off the dirt on the contacts and may fix your problem.  If not, then try shorting the two switch leads and see if the LED lights up.

Successfully rehabilitated one that was half dead and flickering. The other one was completely dead before and after gentle but insistent manipulation.

The board and the lens appear yo be a single unit, no obvious way of non destructively separating them to replace the board.

Anyone know the manufacturer and part number to maybe find a replacement?
