Glacier collapse, not just Italy
On the long list of natural hazards to be prepared for... bears, bison, floods, and... glacier collapse. 

This time, sometime around July 8, Juuku Pass, Kyrgyzstan.  Captured by a British tourist.

Great example of British  calm shooting the video.

Many years ago when I was out riding the world on my motorcycle, I spent some time in southern Argentina.
Perito Merino glacier is an active one and watching it calve off chunks as big as a building was pretty awesome to see.
