Ceiling Patch June 08, 2022, 10:33:21 pm I'm looking for an idea on what to use to patch the holes in the ceiling after removing the antenna and satellite. Something that would kinda' complement the ceiling material. Thanks.jor

You might be able to paint them to match with some acrylic paints. Possibly remove a piece of the wall paper from an unseen spot behind a cushion to cover the plug. Re: Ceiling Patch Reply #4 – June 09, 2022, 10:50:03 am Hi Jor; I don't know where you are located or where you camp, but out in the western deserts, there pretty much isn't any place for a Roku to work. Some full hookup campgrounds do offer cable TV connections and don't require antennas. But even full hookup campgrounds that might have WiFi of a sort, often have no or spotty cell phone connectivity. The wifi places I find to be hit or miss and too slow for any streaming video. So that leaves you with satellite (Dish or Direct), or the Starlink system which may be viable for watching TV via a Roku. Those alternatives still require an antenna on the roof. (or on the ground around your rig) RonB

These are flat, round, white plastic disks that can be glued anywhere. Unfortunately, LD's patterned wallpaper is going to be hard to match, unless you can persuade the factory to send you a swatch.

We had a satellite dish years ago but for a long time we have been using directional and omni-directional antennas with a Verizon hotspot. This is the third satellite dish I've done away with. We are in the West (Tucson) and we usually drycamp. We seldom lack for a usable signal and if we do, out with the book or Kindle! We normally have no trouble streaming. Interestingly, the little suction-cup-on-the-window directional antenna often performs better than the omni on the roof (go figure!). We have Starlink at the house so we might end up with that sometime. Who knows!jor 1 Likes
