Got a TK! Was… Eastern Washington inspectors?
I have an incredible opportunity to purchase a 2017 TK in eastern Washington, roughly 200 miles east of Portland.

On a TK that new, less than 8K miles, I am very tempted to forgo hiring an inspector, plus I cannot find any inspectors closer than 200 miles.   But I know better than to not get an inspection.

Anyone know of any available inspectors in the area?

Thanks!

Going to be one of those guys who answers his own post.

Found a guy on nrvia.org who can take a look tomorrow (Wednesday).

If things work out for Dave, he can leave his tent at home for next year's Morro Bay GTG.
If things work out better, he could soon own a 2017 LD and a 2022 LD.
Hope it works out well.

Yes!

Bought the 2017 TK in Richland WA yesterday, starting my way back to the Bay Area.

Called the seller Tuesday, had an inspection done Wednesday, flew up Thursday.   Kinda surreal, wasn’t expecting to get one this year.

Practically brand new at 7117 miles!

Breath that sweet “high altitude” air, Dave. It’s certainly rarified at the top.

Congratulations for your dedicated search. Sharp eyes and quick action brings home the win.

Congratulations Dave.   Bring your tent to Morro Bay next year.   Pitch it and to 'before' and 'after' pics.

Well this is awkward.   Might not be Past Tents with respect to Morro Bay.

Don’t get me wrong, I do have a 2017 TK sitting outside my condo right now and loved every moment of the 800 mile drive home, and want nothing more that take it to Morro Bay.

But I can’t afford to base it here in the Bay Area.   It’s just too hard to pass up free indoor heated storage in Wyoming, closer to place to launch trips from too.

Still working on the logistics of leaving it here until next spring, to see if I can swing it this year, before it’s based in Wyoming.

Dave, you have to do what's necessary to use it.   Don't sell your tent.
See you down the road
