Inauspicious Start to Our Trip
We left this morning on a 2 month East Coast trip.  But first I had to step in the neighbor’s dog poop.  So I had to clean here, there, and everywhere.  Yuck!

Then the RVs battery was dead.  Oh poop!  So I jumped the RV with the Subaru and we were on our way.  (I think I had drained the battery using the 12V plug.)

About 10 miles from our destination, the Garmin went crazy.  Oh poop.  So Waze came to our rescue.

The State Park has us staying for 3 days but I had made reservations for only 2 days.  Almost another poop, but sorted out.

On the other hand, our campsite is level with a view of the lake.   Everything ended up Roses.

Safe travels, Ed!  What is the name of the state park you are staying at?

Swallow a frog first thing and your day is bound to improve.
And if it doesn't,  at least you've baselined a REALLY bad day.
Safe travels

Martin Creek Lake State Park.   Our first time here and it looks to a very decent SP that is well maintained and on a good fishing lake.  It’s not a destination SP but a very good way station.

Aha! We actually drove through that park back in early October when we were visiting friends that live in Tatum. Seemed like a nice park, enjoy!

I had to chuckle because your day reminded me a a children's book called "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day"  by Judith Viorst.    Every time something happened Alexander would say "I think I'm going to move to Australia."  Alexander makes it through his less than perfect day, and ends the book by saying:  "I guess some days are like that - even in Australia."

So happy you worked out the "challenges" in your day!
