And So It Begins....
The great leaky roof repair and resulting cabover damage. Feel free to share any insights....

Just remember, you cant take too many photos.  The digital film is cheap.  BTW, what is the metal piece on the roof?

I am not sure if it is original. It is something like a transition strip. It screws through the roof into the wood below. For added strength maybe? Once I have it all cleaned and prepped, I am thinking that I may not need to use it... It creates a 'ridge' that I do not care for as I will be using eternabond. If I do use it, I will anchor it once the eternabond is applied to the roof first. We'll see.

The piece of trim metal supports and completes the transition form the fiberglass front to the aluminum roof. Ours has it. doesn't look like anyone did you any favors on your roof.
